Poverty Is A Wisdom Problem. Wealth Is A Wisdom Solution (2)

Anyone in this life can achieve fame, wealth and success in anything they set their hearts on. But you need wisdom to be able to achieve.

Disciplining oneself to the process of acquiring wisdom to be able to achieve is a pre-requisite. Commitment to the process is also required because you cannot complete anything to which you are not committed.

Conviction about the end result (fame, wealth, success, etc) is equally important before you can even talk of committing yourself. If you are not convinced of what your objectives are, you will lose interest in the process soonest.

You should also have an open and willing mind to learn because the road to achieving wisdom would lead you to new things you would never have imagined of before now.

The bible (King James Version) says in the book of Proverbs 24 verse 7 says, “Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.”

In verse 14 it says, “So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.”

I believe these bible quotations speak for themselves on the value of obtaining wisdom in whatever we want to get out of life. When you find wisdom, there shall be a reward. When you do not find wisdom, life would only appear difficult and impossible.

As I said at the beginning, every problem, including poverty, has a solution. Wisdom is the principal thing to get and every other thing shall fall in place.

Proverbs 1 verse 7 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” If you truly desire to become an achiever in life, commit yourself and strive from today to obtain wisdom.

Listen to motivational and inspirational tapes, read inspirational books and interact more with genuinely successful individuals.

You would be amazed within a short while at the amount of wisdom you would have obtained in the process. When you apply the wisdom to any of life’s situations, you will surely achieve your life’s objectives and others would still be wondering what happened to you.

Do me a favour as always: share your story with them if they are willing to learn.

I will conclude by telling you a story as told by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy Ministries. The parson’s father used to drive a Citroen automobile and later passed it to him.

At the time, there were several people using the Citroen and they used to service the vehicle at a designated Citroen workshop.

When the Citroen Company closed its local workshop, a mechanic at the workshop where the Pastor’s dad used to fix his car, however, opened his own private workshop shortly after and was now responsible for servicing and maintaining Citroen cars for his wealthy clients.

He continued to do this for several years but due to non availability of spare parts, client after client began to abandon their faulty Citroen cars at the mechanic’s workshop.

At a time, it was only the Pastor’s inherited Citroen car that was on the road because he was still a very young man and had taken time to learn a few things from the mechanic and applied it to keep his car on the road.

A time came when the Pastor had to take his Citroen car for repairs at the workshop only to be told that a lack of business had caused the mechanic to equally close shop and move to his country home due to his inability to sustain the cost of living in the city.

The lesson from this story is how a lack of wisdom can cause an individual to fall from seeming financial success to financial lack. At the time the mechanic was servicing his wealthy clientele, he had obviously not learnt any lessons from what happened to his former employers and carried on business without foresight.

While he was making money, it never occurred to him to learn repairs of other luxurious cars in a period of about 18 years when he was repairing Citroen cars and suddenly, he found himself out of business and had to relocate to live in abject poverty at the country side.

Had he had the foresight to realise the fact that one day, there would be no spare parts to repair Citroen cars, he would have made efforts to solve the problem before things went awry.

That is precisely what lack of wisdom, insight, understanding, knowledge, foresight and intelligence does to many people who have to struggle through life daily to make ends meet.

Know now as you read that every problem has a solution. Obtaining and applying wisdom is the solution to any situation.
